Terms of Service

1. Accounts and accurate information

You must provide accurate information, protect your account credentials, and use RaiseSimple only for lawful purposes. Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event, licence, beneficiary, prize, refund, and fulfillment information they submit.

2. RaiseSimple's role

RaiseSimple provides technology for event registration, payments, fundraising, auctions, prize draws, check-in, communications, and related administration. Event organizers remain responsible for operating their events, delivering prizes or benefits, and complying with the terms and approvals applicable to their event.

3. Payments and platform fees

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Prices, quantities, and applicable RaiseSimple platform fees are confirmed before payment. A successful payment is not considered fully fulfilled until RaiseSimple receives and verifies the payment provider's server confirmation.

4. Electronic chance gaming

Electronic raffle, 50/50, prize-draw, and random-selection features may be used only for eligible events when the applicable licence or approval and RaiseSimple platform release controls permit them. Manitoba Socials currently use attendance ticketing, donations, QR check-in, and event administration only; electronic chance-gaming modules are not enabled for that event type.

Where electronic chance gaming is later enabled for an eligible event, paid chances receive permanent serialized records only after confirmed payment, and electronic random selection is available only when the applicable event approval and RaiseSimple technical release controls permit it.

5. Auctions and regulated modules

Where an auction or regulated fundraising module is enabled after the required approvals and RaiseSimple release controls are satisfied, the applicable event rules and payment terms will be shown to participants before use.

6. Refunds, reversals, and disputes

Event-specific refund or cancellation terms are set by the organizer and displayed where applicable. A full refund invalidates the affected paid ticket or chance. A partial refund, payment dispute, chargeback, or other payment exception may place affected attendance or gaming records on hold until reviewed. Records on hold are not eligible for check-in, allocation, or a draw.

7. Winners and fulfillment

Organizers are responsible for confirming winner eligibility and delivering prizes, auction items, proceeds, or other event benefits. RaiseSimple may retain draw and fulfillment audit records to support reconciliation and review.

8. Safety, integrity, and suspension

RaiseSimple may prevent purchases, bidding, check-in, draws, event publication, or account activity when necessary to protect payment integrity, privacy, platform security, regulatory compliance, or users. Attempts to manipulate entries, payment status, draws, access controls, or event records are prohibited.

9. Service availability

RaiseSimple may experience interruptions caused by maintenance, payment providers, networks, devices, or other services. Organizers should maintain appropriate event-day contingency procedures. RaiseSimple does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

RaiseSimple may update these terms as the service and pilot evolve. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice or acceptance.
