Information we collect

Depending on how you use RaiseSimple, information may include your name, email address, phone number, account information, optional profile photos, notification preferences, event and organization details, attendance records, check-in status, bids, purchased ticket quantities and serial ranges, prize allocations, winner and fulfillment information, support messages, and technical or security records.

Payment card details are handled by the applicable payment processor. RaiseSimple stores payment references, amounts, status, settlement information, and other records needed to verify and reconcile transactions.

How we use information

We use information to provide accounts and event services, process and verify payments, issue tickets, manage check-in, administer bidding and approved draws, send receipts and operational messages, support organizers, prevent abuse, investigate exceptions, reconcile settlements, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.

Organizer access

An event organizer may receive information reasonably required to operate its event, such as attendance, check-in, supporter, winner, and fulfillment details. RaiseSimple limits raw payment and gaming records to authorized functions and administrative access where possible. Organizers must use information received through RaiseSimple only for legitimate event purposes.

Service providers

RaiseSimple may use service providers for payment processing, hosting, authentication, communications, analytics, security, and other functions necessary to operate the platform. Those providers receive information only as required for the services they perform and subject to their applicable terms and safeguards.

Public information

Public event pages may display event descriptions, prize information, fundraising information selected for display, bidder display names, or winner names where appropriate. If an organizer adds a public organizer name, photo, biography, or website, those details may appear on the organizer's event pages. A personal account photo is separate and is intended only for the signed-in account interface. Private contact details, internal review notes, payment references, and administrative compliance information are not intended for public display.

Security and integrity

RaiseSimple uses access controls, server-side payment verification, protected administrative records, audit information, and other measures intended to reduce unauthorized access or manipulation. No system can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their own credentials and devices.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, support event and financial reconciliation, maintain draw and payment audit records, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and satisfy legal or regulatory requirements. Retention periods may differ by record type.

Your choices and requests

You may update available account information and optional communication preferences through RaiseSimple. Essential receipts, payment or refund notices, security messages, and other service communications may still be sent when required to operate your account or transaction. You may request help with access, correction, an account email change, or deletion through Account settings. RaiseSimple verifies sensitive requests before acting, and some financial, security, event, draw, or compliance records may need to be retained even after other account information is deleted.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as RaiseSimple and its pilot programs evolve. The effective date above identifies the current version.
